Naquetia annandalei (Preston, 1910), common name the “annandale’s murex”, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.
Note: There has been great debate and confusion regarding whether N. annandalei is the same species of the similar N. barclayi (Reeve, 1858) from the Western Indian Ocean, originally described from Mauritius and ranges southwards to South Africa.
