Haliotis discus, common name the “disk abalone” or “Edo abalone”, is a sepcies of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Haliotidae, the abalones. This one was a subspecies H. d. hannai from the wild population occurred in the Hokkaido, Japan.
