Dicathais orbita (Gmelin, 1791), common name the “white rock shell” or “cart-rut shell”, is a species of predatory sea snails, marine gastropod molluscs in the family Muricidae, the rock snails. The genus Dicathais is monotypic.; this is the only species in it. This species is found around the coasts of Australia and New Zealand.
