Large Cleaved Deep Blue Fluorite Octahedron “Diamond” from Bingham, New Mexico, USA

The piece has been cleaved from a larger piece of fluorite by a miner into the octahedron shape. It has fascinating deep blue color with some white zoning at the tips. Fluorite “diamonds” from this locality are usually small, but this one is exceptionally large.
