Large Green Fluorite Cleaved Octahedron Diamond from Riemvasmaak, South Africa

The piece has been cleaved from a larger piece of fluorite by a miner into the octahedron shape. Gemmy fluorite “diamonds” from this locality are not rare but still not at all easy to collect since they are not available in large quantity in the market, let alone large size like this one.
