This is a total transparent clear calcite crystal with well-defined, razor-sharp edges from the Tonglushan Mine. The mine has been producing copper ore for over 3000 years. It is where the Chinese Bronze Age started, and it has been mined continuously since. Despite the fact that the mine is mostly being mined for copper, the calcites from this locality are actually more well-known than its copper materials in the mineral world. This piece gives strong pink fluorescence under UV light.
